MetaDesign - Balanced economies
“MetaDesign has been publishing the MetaMagazin since 2001. Each issue is dedicated to a particular theme, and includes a range of fascinating articles exploring various aspects of that topic. The theme of our 2012 edition is “Balanced Economy”.
It focuses on the challenges of branding in the future, including sustainability in the sense of corporate leadership with a long-term perspective for society, business, and the environment. Above all it will focus on the importance of fostering an awareness of vision and meaningfulness as the foundations of responsible business.”
LBi were asked to contribute a double page spread that showed off our interpretation of the theme. We produced a collage that showed how balanced economies effects us on a local level, expanding out to the wider global issues. The elements within the piece shows how delicately balanced our concerns are, and how they aren’t always as clear cut as we first imagine…
Channel 33
A few months back I was asked to create an identity for a small video production house in Dalston that go by the name Channel 33. The idea was to create a simple typographic logo that’s main emphasis was on the number 33 (the word ‘channel’ attached to the name just made me think of a cable station). I wanted to play around with the numbers and craft something that felt portable across various media - print, video & digital. The end result works nicely as decal and in reverse (simple text without the circle).

skive rebranding
I noticed recently that skive had rebranded, which made me think of the work I’d done whilst at the agency 3+ years ago. After a good rummage through some old files I’ve dug out a ‘few works in progress’ and initial concepts which I still think look pretty good and show some good thought processes behind…
This site is basically an over spill of ideas and concepts, some worked, some didn't, but I had fun making them so thought, why not share the love. All comments welcome.
